⚠️ IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTICE — REAR COVER MUST BE CHANGED

Because this is a JDM transmission imported from Japan, the rear transmission cover/mounting cover is different from the U.S.-spec Toyota Sienna transmission.

🔧 YOU MUST REUSE THE REAR COVER FROM YOUR ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION

During installation, your technician MUST remove the rear cover/mounting cover from your original U.S.-spec transmission and install it onto the JDM transmission.

The JDM rear cover has a different mounting configuration and will not properly line up with the U.S.-spec Sienna transmission mount.

THIS IS A NORMAL JDM-TO-USDM COMPONENT TRANSFER AND DOES NOT MEAN THE TRANSMISSION IS INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE.

DO NOT DISCARD YOUR ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION

Keep your original transmission and all of its components until the JDM transmission has been completely installed and the vehicle has been road tested.

Depending on your application, additional components may need to be transferred from your original transmission, including:

• Rear transmission cover / mounting cover — REQUIRED
• Transmission mount and brackets
• Speed sensors
• Electrical sensors
• Wiring/connectors
• External brackets
• Other application-specific components

Your installer should compare both transmissions before installation and transfer any necessary U.S.-spec components.

Installation should be performed by a qualified automotive technician or transmission repair facility familiar with Toyota automatic transmissions.

Before installation, we strongly recommend:

• Transfer the original U.S.-spec rear cover onto the JDM transmission
• Verify the torque converter is properly seated
• Flush the transmission cooler and cooler lines
• Use the correct Toyota-specified transmission fluid
• Set the transmission fluid to the proper level
• Inspect transmission mounts and brackets
• Inspect all sensors and electrical connections
• Transfer necessary U.S.-spec components
• Perform any required reset/relearn procedures
• Check for leaks before road testing

Improper installation, incorrect fluid level, contaminated cooler lines, or failure to transfer required components can result in transmission problems or damage.

• Overheating
